Hairbows For Girls started with the birth of my daughter Erin, Elizabeth in 2001. From birth, she was blessed with a lot of hair, and she had to have a bow to match every outfit. The bows during that time were either very expensive or not complimentary to her outfits. I can remember paying as much as $5.00 for one tiny bow. As a result of my frustration, I enrolled in a hairbow-making class in Homewood, Alabama and after several months of practice, I started to make bows to match all of her outfits. I received so many compliments from my friends, church members, and coworkers that I
was making tons of them. With this Hairbows For Girls was started.

For the last 20 years, I have made bows, monogrammed tote bags, baby bibs, towels, infant t-shirts and personalized keychains. Regardless of life experiences, crafts have always been a happy place for me. In 2015, Erin was bitten by the craft bug, and she started to make t-shirts, tutus, and coasters. Our business has primarily transitioned into gifts for baby showers, special occasions, holidays, T-shirts, and promotional items.
We also offer a wristband fundraiser. We initially started the wristband fundraiser to help a family in 2019. Several entities have benefited from our generosity including schools, alumni, universities, social and saving clubs, political campaigns, and non profits. Many of the wristbands have been gifted to ensure that individuals goals were not only met but exceeded.

When I am not doing crafts, I drive foster kids all over the State of Alabama. I also participate in various volunteer activities involving neighborhood cleanups and revitalization efforts. Erin is now all grown up and is a student at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa pursuing a Nursing degree.
